ISO 14001 certification is seen by many customers as evidence of implementing environmental legislation and a commitment to reduce the environmental impact of your organisation.
A typical ISO 14001 system initially sets out to identify what environmental impact your business has and what legislations you need to comply with. A risk analysis is then performed and objectives, targets and procedures are put in place. Staff are trained and the environmental processes are implemented throughout the organisation.
Where possible environmental processes are incorporated into normal business activities so they are not intrusive on daily business.
